I see the same pattern over and over. Someone comes to me in pain, we work through it together, they feel significantly better, and then six months later they are back with the same problem. Not because the treatment did not work. It did. But because nothing changed in the body's ability to support itself.
This is why I combine osteopathic treatment with strength and rehabilitation coaching. Treatment removes the restriction. Strength training makes sure it does not come back.
Why strength matters more than people think
Muscles support joints. When the muscles around a joint are weak or poorly coordinated, that joint takes on more load than it is built for. This is why a lot of chronic lower back pain is not actually a structural problem at all. It is a strength deficit that has been misread as one.
I became genuinely passionate about strength training through my own experience. During Covid I became very inactive, gained weight, and started struggling with knee pain. A friend introduced me to strength training and it changed everything. I became stronger, more connected to my body, and more confident than I had ever been. That experience shapes the way I work with every client.
Building targeted strength in the right places, the posterior chain, the deep spinal stabilisers, the glutes, changes how load moves through the body. It is not dramatic. But over time it is completely transformative.
What my rehabilitation coaching looks like
My online coaching sessions are 60 minutes, one to one, and designed specifically for women who are recovering from pain or injury, or who want to build lasting physical resilience alongside their osteopathic treatment.
Every programme is built around you. I look at your history, the areas we have treated, what your body needs right now, and what your goals are. No generic plans. No guesswork.
You do not need a gym, equipment, or any prior experience. I work with bodyweight, resistance bands, whatever you have available. The focus is quality of movement, not quantity of load.
Where to start
If you have never trained before, or you are coming back to movement after injury, pregnancy, or a long gap, you are exactly who I designed this for. The goal is not performance. It is building a body that feels capable, reliable and pain-free in daily life. That is something every woman deserves, at every stage of life.
Online rehabilitation coaching is available to women anywhere in the UK. In-person osteopathic treatment is based in Chelsea SW10, London, serving Kings Road, Sloane Square, Fulham and Kensington. No GP referral required.
