“So many women are told that period pain is just something to put up with. I don’t think you should have to. I can’t cure endometriosis, but I can work on the tension in your back, hips and pelvis that so often comes with it, and give you a space where you’re properly listened to.”Amina
Alongside your doctor.
Osteopathy doesn’t replace medical care for gynaecological conditions such as endometriosis. Many women see Amina alongside their GP or gynaecologist. If you have new, severe or changing pelvic pain, unusually heavy bleeding, or pain with a fever, please see your GP first.

Before you book.
Do I need a diagnosis to book?
No. Some women come with a diagnosis such as endometriosis; others simply have pain they want to understand. If you haven’t spoken to your GP about new or worsening pelvic pain, please do that as well.
Is any of the treatment internal?
No. All treatment is external and done over or around clothing or towels. Amina will explain each technique before she starts, and you can stop at any time.
Can I come during my period?
Yes, if you feel comfortable. Some women prefer to come when their symptoms are present so Amina can see how they affect them; others prefer another time in their cycle. Either is fine.
Will this replace my medical treatment?
No. Osteopathy works alongside your medical care, not instead of it. Keep taking any medication you’ve been prescribed, and keep your GP or gynaecologist informed.
Is the practice women-only?
Yes. Osteoxfit treats only women.
